Before the start of each show the main entrance will open 45 minutes before and the seated areas 30 minutes before. Giving everyone plenty of time to arrive, have a look at refreshments available, make a selection and find the designated seats.

If you are hoping to get tickets in a certain area of the theater, it is best to familarize yourself with the seating chart. You can find the seating chart for the theater online, but let’s take a closer look at the seats:

Orchestra

The Orchestra section is where you will find the most seats in the Winter Garden Theatre. 1,045 of the 1,600 seats are in this area. There are also 36 box seats and 33 places for standing in the Orchestra area. This section is the only area that features seating for wheelchair users. It also includes some aisle seats with folding armrests and companion seats.

Mezzanine

The Mezzanine section is on the upper level of the theater, and it features 486 seats. Row A of the Mezzanine area overhangs Row O of the Orchestra area, and there are many seats that offer a fantastic view of the stage. This area features companion seats and aisle seats with folding armrests. However, there are no wheelchair-friendly seats in this section.

When booking your ticket online, you can select where to sit. You will be able to choose from main seating areas; balcony, mezzanine, orchestra, dress circle and stage. And then it’s up to you, whether you like to be up close or kick back in a box and soak up the views with extra space.

Which are the best seats to choose?

The best seats in the Orchestra section depend on what you are looking for. For views of the stage, any of the seats from Row D to Row K are the best suited for you.

If you are looking for seats that are the best value for money, go for any of the seats in Row L to Row P. Row A has the best legroom, but it is a bit close to the stage, so you might miss certain parts of the performance.

Rows A to C are great options for views, while the best value for money seats would be any of the seats in Row E to Row F. Much like in the Orchestra section, Row A of the Mezzanine section offers plenty of legroom, as do the corner seats.

There are positives and negatives to each of the seats in all sections of the Winter Garden Theatre, so make sure to check the seating chart thoroughly before you order so that you get the best possible seat for your needs.
